ABOUT JADE
Hello!Healing is real. I have lived it.
I came to this work out of curiosity — and out of necessity. When I was recovering from complex trauma and bereavement, there were times I genuinely didn't know how the fuck I was going to make it through the experience. But slowly — through my own therapy journey, and whole lot of inner work and creative self-care — I started to be able to watch my feelings and responses shift in real time.
It felt like a miracle. It still does!
I didn't exactly plan to become a therapist. I was a writer, a filmmaker, a storyteller — someone who had always been drawn to the interior life, to meaning-making, to the intersection of language and emotion - to poetry and theatre. When I found myself in the territory of deep healing, something clicked. The continuum between creative arts and healing arts felt ancient and obvious and true.
Interdisciplinary integration is not a modern innovation. It is a deep remembering!
It was the most alive thing in my life. So I followed it.
Conversations and connections
I'm drawn to seekers, initiates, dreamers — those longing to look at the world through their poet's eye. I'm interested in non-conformity, in how tending to the heart-space fits us into a lineage of resistance. In how, by our very being-ness, we support collective liberation.
I believe personal and collective transformation are not separate. The work we do together — the exhilarating work of coming home to yourself — is also a gesture toward the wellbeing of the wider world.
What is being born? What is dying?
These are the questions I bring to the moment.
A little more about me
I have lived all my life on Dharawal Country in the Northern Illawarra — some powerful and medicinal country to be sure! I am a single mum, a writer, a filmmaker, a big reader, a devoted film nerd, a dog lover, and a bonne vivante!
I’m out bushwalking most mornings, (but only because my doggy overlord will not accept alternatives)
